Teaching / Script Editing

I’m an experienced tutor of creative writing, and currently a mentor for the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on their MA/MFA in Scriptwriting, working with theatre, TV and radio writers. I was also associate lecturer on the BA in Film & Television at the University of the Arts, London.

As Artistic Director of 5065 Lift I commissioned 15 writers over two years and worked closely with them to develop their scripts to production. I’ve run courses and workshops for Norwich Theatre Royal, Manchester University, Script East, Arts Depot, City Academy, the Charles Causley Festival and the Sitcom Mission, among others. And I’ve written for theatre, film, TV and radio, working with editors, producers and literary managers, so I have experience of the process from both sides.

I’ve also taught sitcom writing and worked as director / dramaturg with performers on one person shows.

I can provide private, one-to-one mentoring (online) or script editing services. Contact me at jukeboxstory@gmail.com if you would like to discuss a particular project.
